1. GENERAL RULES
The tournament shall
follow the international laws of the game provided by FIFA.
2. PERIODS, DURATION OF THE GAME
¤ Each group stage
match shall last 40 minutes, comprising two periods of 20
minutes, with a half-time interval of 10 minutes.
¤ In the group stage ranking, points (win =
3-point, draw = 1-point) will be counted
first, if points are same between two teams in group stage, then we will count

Goal
Difference (GD); if its same
-
Number
of goals scored (GF); if its same
-
Number
of Yellow and Red card; if its same
penalty shootout
will be applied. (Organizers will set a knockout system penalty
between teams (3/4) by toss if
needed).
So, it goes Points>GD>GF>Card
Counts>Penalty shoot.
¤ Semifinal matches are 50 min each (each
period is 25min and 5 min break between
them). In the semifinals if a draw persists after 50 minutes penalty kicks will be taken to determine the winner. There
is no extra time in the semifinals.
¤
There will be a third-place decider match right after semifinals matches. Third- place match is a 40min match with no extra time.
Penalty shootouts will take place if results are not come out after 40 minutes.
¤ Final match shall last 50 minutes, comprising two periods of 25 minutes, with a half-time interval of 10 minutes. In the final, if the draw persists after 50 minutes match, an extra 10 minutes will be played without break. If the score is level even after extra time, penalty kicks will be taken to determine the winner.
3. TEAM DETAILS (Please read
carefully)
- A team should submit a squad list of maximum 15 players for the tournament before 05.8.2024. Please also submit a group photo of your team (15player + 1 managers) to the organizer by 5th august for the clarity of the tournament, however organizer will keep a group photo of whole squad before first match of each team. If a team fails to present in time for the match a walkover will be given to the opponent team.

(We do not expect walkover, that’s why a penalty of 100 euro will be imposed on the guilty team and consider for next year relegation).
- All goalkeepers and the captain must be identified when submitting the line-up. If a player is seriously injured while playing, a team can remove him from the squad and can add another player in the 15-player squad team for the next match (A doctor certificate is needed in that case).

Players
registered under any team are forbidden to play for another team.
- Each team must provide 2 people for collecting footballs outside from the field (fence) in other teams matches.
Each team will give one scorer for keeping match data of their own match. These match data will be used to determine golden ball, golden boot, golden defense and golden gloves.
4. Game-play rules
Referee rules: All teams and players must respect the decision of the referee. If a player disrespects the referee he will be suspended from the tournament and if the whole team disrespects the referee, the team will be suspended from the tournament. Using rough/bad language during the match will be considered as a punishable act. If a player / team physically hit / use a slang languages then player / team will be suspended from the game / tournament. There will be team along with referee who will help organizer / Referee.
Yellow card/red card: If a player gets 2 yellow cards, then it will count as a red card. If a player gets a red card, he will be suspended for next match as well as team will get 10 euros of fine for each red card, team need to pay penalty before next match. If a player gets 2 yellow cards in a consecutive match, he will miss the next match (only applicable in group stage matches).
Dangerous Plays: Finn - Bangla Tournament want to make sure the fair play and avoid any injured of our players as its our a hobby for all of us. Requesting everyone to follow this strictly. Any violence will take in seriously. Below is few example of dangerous plays,
Offside rules: No offside rule will be applied in this tournament.
Substitution rules: Same player can change many times in a game. But the players must change themselves through the center line of the field and must raise his hands to show the referee indicating player change. Substitute player can only enter to the field when in-field player crosses the field and touches the player. Only 9 players from each team can play in the field, if there are more than 9 players due to substitution referee may warn or give yellow card to the extra player.
Penalty kickout rules: Same as FIFA/UEFA rules (5 penalty will take place at first, if results not come out then one-one penalty will run until results come out, substitute/extra player cannot take the penalty). At least one leg of goalkeeper should touch the goal line before penalty taken by the player. Penalty distance from goal line will be 8 yards.
Tiebreaker kickout rules: Goalkeeper / player is not allowed to change after match is over which means substitute / extra player is not allowed to take penalty.
Team Jersey: If the referee decides that one team
should change shirts due to similarity
to the opposing team`s shirts, team name appearing last in the tournament must change or wear vests. Vests
are guaranteed by the tournament
organizer. For the semifinal matches the priority of jersey will be
given to those who score more goals in the group stages. For the final, the team who
scored more goals in semifinals will
be given priority to wear a jersey. If sorting remains unsolved through this process, toss of coin
will take place. All players were
recommended to wear safeguards.
Supporters: The teams are responsible for their supporter’s conduct. Supporters can enter the ground but be careful of border lines of the field. Supporters must keep their distance from the border line and must not enter the field before the game finished. Supporter shall not use any slang language or attact to opiniont player/team. Organizer will have rights to suspend the team if they fail to control their supporter(s).
Others: Metal spikes boots are not allowed in this
tournament. Shin guards are recommended for every player for safety reasons.
Fingernails should be as small as possible, and no metals allowed
in hand (referee will check these in every match).
5. Discipline And Security
The team who will play most fairly in the tournament will be awarded a fair-play award.
8. MEDICAL AID / INSURANCE / WARRANTY
The organizers of the football tournament will not take any responsibility for injuries, which happen during the football tournament. Teams have an obligation to ensure that all trauma situations will be resolved. If possible, the football tournament organizers will assist with their medical skills. Make sure that all your players are insured both on and off the playing field. Finn-Bangla Football Tournament does not carry any group insurance and is not responsible for protecting participants in case of injury, illness, theft, or damage to property.
8. TROPHIES AND HONOURS
At the conclusion of the tournament attractive awards will be given under various categories.
The organizers hold the ability to take any instant decision or changes in above rules due to the environment in the field by themselves during the tournament.
